I spent the night with Benny last night.

Something about the air in northern Michigan hits the soul different, and the pace allows you to slow down and just take in art in the woods, an artist world known and one of his pieces are nestled in the sweet little campground (and river front) of Northern Outfitters in Germfask, Michigan.

The camp has modern amenities while being respectful of the surrounding wilderness and a trail leading to the site of this fun bearded art treasure.

As tiny bubbles floated down the stream I was taken back to my 13 year old self dancing on a similar river shore campsite with my papa K while he sang me tiny bubbles and taught me to dance for the upcoming school season, with gram K making notes about my back posture needing work lol

These tiny bubbles floating by I find myself looking at Benny, loving on my labradoodle Teddy and being grateful for the adventure I am on of a bucket list trip for me across the whole UP and to the northern shore with my forever adventure partner and full of love for him, the way I saw in my grandparents many moons ago and prayed for it for my future.

It’s always an adventure, don’t forget to enjoy the art along the way 🫶🏼
